Q: "What makes your Caregivers different…?"
A: Our Caregivers come from all walks of life and very often they are individuals from within your community. We look to employ people who are good people themselves and truly love to help others. It is not uncommon to find that they are members of local organizations, community groups, business and families near you who are doing this because they want to help others. Very often they, or someone close to them, has been through the same sort of situations you may be facing and they are looking to help in the same way they saw was needed previously for themselves or their loved one.

Q: Do you actually provide services in Assisted Living Facilities?
A: Yes. People sometimes discover that the assistance provided in an assisted living facility is not enough to enable them to remain independent. In these cases, Choice Home Care provides a person to make this possible. In some states you are allowed to hire private help in an assisted living facility – or nursing home for that matter.

Q: "How do you prepare your employees and what make Choice Home Care different from other companies?"
A: Every Choice Home Care, Caregiver is introduced and oriented to each client's individual needs, ways and habits so that you are treated the way you are accustomed to, not the way someone else thinks it should be done from a text book.
We match Caregivers that already have the skills and experiences necessary to assist you and then mentor and coach them to be oriented to your way of living. We do not look to place someone with you that has no experience in the services you need or where they just 'trained' on how to do them. Additionally, we coach Caregivers on practical considers in your specific care and how to respond to various situations, should they arise, while we are providing you assistance.
Many other organizations simply assign the next available person to you, often without ever even meeting you face-to-face to understand your needs or taking the time to allow you and the caregiver to be introduced... BEFORE they are assigned to you. We instead, require a no-obligation In-home Consultation to fully understand your individual needs and environment before even considering Caregiver options to present to you. Then we work with you and selected Caregivers to arrange for an In-Home Introduction prior to committing them to you. We are looking to foster a loving, caring, stable and lasting relationship between you and the Home Helpers staff there to help you… it starts with the way we treat you and our employees.

Q: "Who pays the Caregiver? Do I pay them and you separately?"
A: Choice Home Care administers all the billing, payroll, employee / employer taxes, workers compensations & liability insurance, bonding and administrative / scheduling responsibilities for you. You do not have to worry about paying extra taxes, reporting employment information to local, state and federal agencies or even immigration issues. We take care of all of this for you as every Caregiver put on assignment by Home Helpers is required to be an employee of our office and not a sub-contractor or independent operator. We minimize your personal and family risks when you are at the time of the greatest need and risk.
